Many Wonders

Noserumi

It's already mid-July, and after the heavy rain a few days ago
The cicadas all began chirping at once, as if they had all had a meeting.
Every year, without getting bored, I say it's already x month, it's already x month of the year
I think it's a wonder to be alive.
"It feels like I've been on the move a lot lately, but actually I haven't."
Things like that happen often, as I mentioned earlier.
I think time and action are mysterious things.
Yesterday was the day of the Gion Yamakasa festival in the area where I live. The night before, we did a naked pilgrimage.
The ceremony, which will be held for the first time in four years, marks the 307th year since it began in the town.
Even before COVID-19, there was a decades-long hiatus during and after the war, and its revival can now be described as an "interruption."
While some scenery is being lost, some remains.
It would be easy to say that it's just the people who continued, but I think there is a mysterious current that goes beyond human power.
What remains and what doesn't.
As I try to leave something behind
Are you trying to resist that "wonder"?
Are you hoping for wonders?
If it has value, it will remain; if it has meaning, it will remain.
Is this not necessarily the case?
I don't know
It looks like this summer is going to be very hot again.
The summer vacation season is coming soon.
Have a great summer everyone!
