一年の学びと自然治癒力

It's the last week of November and there's only one month left this year.

At this time every year, some people look back on the past year and set goals for the coming year.

Every year at New Year's, my family writes calligraphy, and this year's goal is to be "cheerful and healthy."
", he wrote.

Around this time last year when I set that goal, I had dermatitis all over my body and I didn't know when it would go away. It may sound like an exaggeration, but I felt like I was in the dark.

Looking back at photos from that time, many of them show rashes that look like bruises on their necks, and they are often wearing scarves to hide them.

The thing I struggled with the most was whether to use medication to suppress the symptoms or to use natural remedies to harness my body's own healing powers.

In the latter case, I learned that the medications used to temporarily suppress symptoms, although obviously taking time, can have various adverse effects that remain on the body afterwards.

I chose natural medicine, and if I heard that a certain hot spring was good, I would go there, and if I heard that honey was effective, I would order some and try various things that are said to be good for healing the skin.
It was around this time that I started again with quantum therapy, which I am still learning about today.

When the itching was at its worst, the distilled loquat leaf water I had made for me at Utsushiki was extremely effective.
Then there is the hot spring water from Myoban Onsen in Oita.
In Oita, I also went to Tsukahara Onsen, which was recommended to me by a trusted person.

During this time, I was so grateful for the advice from those around me and the support of my family.
Thanks to this, my skin has improved so much that I can no longer even see the marks left by the dermatitis.

I feel like this experience gave me the confidence to believe that I was able to lead myself from the darkness I was suffering in last year to a "bright and healthy" place by believing in my own healing power.

Also, when I thought about what this experience was trying to tell me, it was that it is not about judging things as good or bad, but about how I feel and the choices I make.

We are constantly bombarded with information, not just about health, and it feels like we are being forced to make choices about what is good and what is bad.

Even in everyday parenting, is this choice simply a matter of the parent's ego?
I am constantly worried about whether I am forcing my child to do something that is too much for them.

However, everything is up to you and there is no right or wrong, no good or bad.
I believe that the choices I believe in will bring me that future.

I've come to realise once again that it's important to gain knowledge so that you can make choices you can believe in.

2023 is shaping up to be another year of great learning!
Have a great week this week.
