"Thank you for your hard work, Mai-san!"

We hugged each other and returned to the kitchen to find the thermos that we had searched and searched for but couldn't find, sitting there on the work table.

Where on earth did the thermos bottle that had been spirited away go?

The first learning space will be held at Utsushiki Cafe on March 6th and 7th. On the 6th, it will be for adults only. On the 7th, both adults and children will participate.
This was Mai's first time teaching someone, and it was also my first time doing this project.

To be honest, I was nervous about how things would turn out, but as I interacted with Mai-san many times, my excitement grew.
I realized that the time I spent thinking about how to make everyone happy and entertained was also connected to my own joy.

Try to improve on things you didn't do well on the first day the next day.
Now that it's over, I've thought about what I can use next time, and I'd like to carry over the things that made it easier and created a good flow into my next learning experience.

Even after the first session, I still felt truly grateful that we were able to have this learning opportunity provided by Mai Murakami, the wife of Murakami Recipe , who also designed the interior of the cafe.

Mai-san learned to make "Gâteau au chocolat with tofu and cocoa powder" nearly 10 years ago and has made it many times.
He says he eventually found the taste and texture he liked.
By not keeping it to yourself, but teaching your precious recipes to someone else, it brings about so many smiles.

It may become a cake that the participating mothers and children make for special occasions, or it may become a standard snack.
Maybe when that child grows up they will make something together with other children. It was a learning opportunity where I could witness such a scene.

The key to Mai's recipe is "mixing the air of the place into the sweets."
The cakes on the first day only rose slowly, but on the second day when the children participated, they rose so much that they almost burst out of the cake pan, and we were surprised at the difference.

On the second day, seven children participated. They ran to the sound of laughter. It was school. Lol. Two sixth grade girls were helping out in the kitchen. Outside, my children and the boys were playing volleyball and badminton.
That must be exploding with force!

While the cake is baking, everyone can arrange their food and enjoy their parfait.
Just as I was about to serve some coffee,

I searched for the thermos bottle I had prepared, but... it was nowhere to be found! I looked everywhere and couldn't find it!

From here on, it gets hard work: grinding the beans again, boiling water, and brewing the coffee...
I was thinking of talking about raising children and our daily lives while eating the parfait, but my child had already finished eating.
I started hearing people calling out for the cookies I baked, so I'm no longer going as planned! lol

Unlike the calm first day, the second day felt like we were running the whole time.
Still, I was relieved to hear everyone say things like "It was fun" and "I want to come again."

After seeing everyone off, a thermos bottle suddenly appeared.
Next to it is...

Yasuhideono's favorite coffee cup is placed there as well.
There's still a little coffee left in the cup!

While we were all in a hurry, I couldn't help but laugh and cry when I thought about him relaxing in the workroom and enjoying a delicious hot cup of coffee.
At the very end, the tension finally broke and Mai and I both burst out laughing.

Mai will write about her impressions of the learning experience and about herself so that those who were unable to attend can also enjoy it.
This will be released soon, so please wait for it.

I hope today will be another day where you can enjoy learning.
