家庭と仕事

The Nohara exhibition began on March 20th.
In the midst of the unstable situation caused by the coronavirus infection, we must take preventive measures and be careful.
Thank you very much to all the customers who came to Utsushiki with a purpose.

We will continue to monitor the situation and take measures to prevent infection, such as disinfecting surfaces and wearing masks.
We will continue to operate as usual, while being careful not to cause any inconvenience, so thank you for your continued support.

Now, in my family, my eldest son, who is in the second grade of elementary school, was forced to take a break from elementary school earlier than expected, and he has been running around and
Every day he sits at my desk doing his homework or reading, and then before you know it he's gone, lounging around at grandma's house.

Being together like this reminds me of when he was little. Until he started kindergarten, he would be by my side while I worked.
I had to stop working many times to talk to him and show him videos. It was my first time raising a child, so I couldn't help but worry about my son.
Sometimes the work wouldn't progress and I would get irritated. I felt like I was conflicted every day, wondering if I was a pitiful person to be around.

My husband was in a state of tension with the business he had just started, something I can't imagine now, so at the time he didn't ask me to help with the housework or childcare.
It didn't even float...lol
I wanted to do my job well, do the housework, and raise my children in the way I wanted! I wanted to do my best in everything! I had a very strong desire.

But now it's different (lol). My feelings for my family haven't changed, but the amount of work and my family have increased, so it's impossible to give 100% at everything!
Without the cooperation of her husband, children, and parents, the Ono family would fall apart.

I've been able to ease the burden a little and now I think about what balance to place more emphasis on between "family and work" and what ratio is comfortable for me.
And when you have kids, no matter how much you plan, things rarely go as planned.
I realised that mindset is also important.

What is the actual balance like, what is your working style like?
I plan to start writing about the time I spend with my children on this blog.

After the field exhibition, I spent the evening relaxing with the children. We read them picture books, watched their crafts, and
I was surprised to see that my second son was heavier than my oldest daughter when we recorded their height and weight.

I need both time to spend with my family and time to work.
Let's be a family that talks, helps each other, and laughs together so that we can all grow!
