The Nagase Jiro exhibition has begun!

It's three cold days and four warm days in Fukuoka, how is everyone doing?
Now, at Utsushiki, the Jiro Nagase exhibition began last Saturday.
Nagase Jiro's works are a big hit in our home too.
The cute mountain range book stand and sophisticated tape cutter are perfect for keeping in plain sight.
Personally, before I encountered Jiro's work, I had the impression that aluminum was something to be associated with, such as pots and lunch plates, and so I felt some psychological distance from it. However, now it has become an indispensable part of decorating the dinner table!
In the summer, serve it ice-chilled and topped with cold desserts, and in the winter, serve it warm and topped with Western food...
This kind of usage is becoming established.
What's even more surprising is that this exhibition will have workshops every day (except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when the exhibition is closed)!
When I heard it, I was surprised and said "Really?" (laughs)
Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend, but it looked like a lot of fun, as it was a workshop where both children and adults could have fun.
Aluminum Nobinobi Workshop, commonly known as "ANW!"

Duration: 1-2 hours (5 people per session)

Walk-ins are accepted on all days except the 25th and 26th (reservations required), so please come and visit Utsushiki!
Furthermore, on Sunday April 2nd, following on from the previous exhibition, Mr Maru from Comptoir Coin in Kuramae, Tokyo will be hosting a dinner party.
This time, we have a course meal of 6 dishes and 10 different kinds!
