Sleep

Noserumi

good morning.
The "Shota x Kawai Arisa Two-person Exhibition" started last Saturday.
Thank you to everyone who came!
Well, today's blog is about sleep.
Recently, I've been seeing a lot of talk about sleep on the internet and in magazines.
Is this really just a social fad, or is it just because I have a subconscious awareness of the issues?
The truth is unclear, but as I learned more about sleep,
I feel like I understand somehow how important this is.
However, for me and many others, this is the "part of everyday life that is the easiest to cut down"!
Therefore, it is quite difficult to achieve an ideal amount of sleep.
But I feel frustrated that I have to say that from the beginning and then just give up.
I would like to write about some knowledge here that will help you understand "sleep" a little better, and also draw my own attention to it!
That's what I thought.
First of all, there are two elements to sleep: duration and quality.
The ideal time for most humans is at least 7 hours. (Not enough at all...!)
In reality, there seem to be individual differences, with some ranging from 7 hours, 7.5 hours, to 8 hours, but apparently even a difference of 30 minutes is important!
I was surprised to learn that due to the structure of the system, it is not possible to "catch up on sleep" and instead, "sleep debt" accumulates.
I've heard people say things like "I feel tired because I slept too much" many times.
In other words, the phenomenon does not exist!!
In reality, it seems that the balance is off and I'm actually not getting enough sleep...
Next, about quality.
I heard that the most important thing is to keep the room dark, quiet, and at a comfortable temperature.
I thought it was pretty normal, but when I thought about it
In my house, the third humidity and temperature rating is completely out of range.
It's humid in the summer and freezing in the winter, so it takes a lot of energy and I wake up several times in the middle of the night.
Also, it is best to avoid forcing yourself to sleep even if you are not sleepy.
I think I cleared this point because I often get so sleepy that I lose consciousness (lol)!
Forcing yourself to get up when you don't want to is not good for your body...
Like many others, I set my alarm early today and woke up feeling sleepy and with a dull headache.
I've always thought that this is just how work days are.
I'm sure most people feel the same way, including mothers raising children and busy office workers.
When you add in the fact that your wake-up and sleep times vary significantly from day to day, you end up with the double whammy of irregularity and lack of sleep!
In today's society, is it even possible to "feel sleepy, fall asleep, and wake up when you feel like getting up"?
I almost want to complain.
Today marks one week since April began.
Every time I see the cherry blossoms in full bloom, the rape blossoms, and hear the birds singing, I am captivated by what a beautiful season of awakening it is.
But that's because they had a good rest during the winter and stored up energy.
Perhaps it is a vivid and fragrant appearance.
Because we don't have a season of hibernation or shed leaves, I realized that I want to cherish my daily sleep more and make it more comfortable.
Even if it's difficult to do every day, I'd like to think about my body and get plenty of sleep on the few days I have free time each month.
I'm sure the next morning your body and mind will feel lighter and there will be no room for evil to take advantage of you.
It's going to be a long journey for me
I feel like I'm looking forward to a life that's a little different from one that's packed with things I want to do and things I have to do, and to creating time to rest and do nothing.
I hope you have another cheerful day today.
