野望を胸に

With the onset of spring, buds are already appearing on the shoots of the butterbur that I planted in my garden last year.

Starting this weekend, February 18th (Sat), a two-person exhibition by Takashi Kumagai and Aki Sakaida will begin. This will be the first glass exhibition at Utsushiki.

On the first day, he will come all the way from Akita to be present in the gallery. When the light shines through his glass works, they appear to emit light.

Please take advantage of this opportunity.

And one more announcement.

Yasuhideono 's accessories are now available online from January 25, 2020. This marks the third year since the new moon to full moon has been posted.

I have met many customers online and have enjoyed interacting with them.

Thankfully, we have received some inquiries after publishing the list, and taking into consideration the effort required for input, we have decided to make the list permanent starting from the new moon on January 20 , 2023 .

Updates will be made at new moons and full moons. We hope you continue to enjoy the waxing and waning of the moon.

He started his career as yasuhideono in 2011.

So we have taken this step by step to the point where we can now view it online.

The appeal of yasuhideono is that it offers a wide variety of accessories, including macrame made from natural stones, metalwork, stone rings, and more.

Among them, I create pieces using embroidery, brass chains, and beads.

I create my designs based on the composition and theme of the exhibition, but in the beginning I got a lot of criticism ... lol

I also remember staying up all night before an exhibition.

In 2015 , I went to India to purchase goods with my eldest son.

After visiting several stone shops, I found sliced labradorite and rainbow moonstone at an old man sitting among a mountain of natural stones. I had never found these in Japan, and I remember being excited, like I was on a treasure hunt.

Even though I drilled holes in the beads, I couldn't immediately make them into jewelry, so they remained in a box. Finally, in the last few years, I was able to use the beads to create a piece of art, and at times like these, memories of those times come back to me.

Even without being conveyed in words, a work embodies thoughts, ideas, experiences, etc.

I hope that it will be born into this world as a part of myself, be handed over to that person, and shine alongside them.

It's no different from parental love.

I want to create things while traveling.

I want to work from anywhere.

It's now been 12 years since I started this profession.

In 2023 , Yasuhideono will move forward with new ambitions.

He has an insatiable desire to improve and is curious; the phrase "sharpening an axe into a needle" perfectly describes him!

Everyone, please watch over us warmly.

I myself would like to try to see how I can express that world through my embroidery works.

I take each stitch with the belief that this is the path to using a fine needle that will bring me one step closer to my ambition of creating a large embroidery piece that would cover an entire wall.
