Today marks the fourth day of the MITTAN exhibition at Utsushiki!

The other day, several clothes that I had sent out for alterations last winter were returned to me in beautiful condition.

The amazing thing about MITTAN is that while it has an ethnic and indigenous form,

As for me, I haven't done it yet, but I'm just thinking it's about time!

It's an exciting season where light shirts, light jackets, and pants made from bamboo or hemp are a big hit.

I have to be conscious about changing my clothes.

Seasonal changes on the dining table will happen naturally just by choosing seasonal ingredients.

Although the basic seasonings are the same all year round, just picking up the vegetables and fish that we live with today

Our bodies also naturally become linked.

Lately, we've been having seafood every day at our house.

A few days ago, for lunch, I had fried noodles with spring squid and spring vegetables.

Last night's dinner was simmered Spanish mackerel with spring vegetables.

Things of the sea and things of the hills are of the same time

I feel like my body and mind have fully experienced spring and are getting ready for early summer.

By the way, the salt-fried noodles on it are a creation by Yoji Yamada that I bought at Hakujitsu in Tokyo two years ago.

It arrived at Utsushiki in the winter, but it was gone in the blink of an eye!

This winter, we are also planning to hold the Hakujitsu Exhibition and the Yamada Yoji Exhibition, so please look forward to them!!!
