The Chikuni exhibition started on January 22nd.

To coincide with this exhibition, we have invited musician Miho Ota , who has been a long-time friend of Chikuni , to hold a concert and learning opportunity.

This time, you can also reward yourself for your hard work. The event will include a meal prepared by Kimie, a botanical chef .

The concert and learning opportunities will be posted on YouTube .

In addition, Miho will be writing about it on the Rakugaku section of the Utsushiki website, so please look forward to it online as well.

So, what kind of studies are you doing?

Studying at school

Reading books

Taking up a class

I think any way of learning is fine.

If you are conscious of it every day, learning will always be there for you.

However, aren't you putting "learning" in a high and impressive position?

When my one- year-old daughter tried again and again and showed me the beaming smile on her face when she took three steps for the first time, I felt like she instinctively knew the joy of being able to do something.

Children are naturally involved in a continuous process of learning every day.

Perhaps the ability to "learn" is an instinct that humans inherently possess.

So even though it may feel like that instinct fades as we grow, it also seems like we can get that feeling back at any time.

I want to be in a constant state of learning, just as naturally as children, without even being aware of it.

I want a place of learning to be a place that gives people an opportunity to think about what it means to "learn."

And when you participate, you will feel like you are learning with fellow students, and we hope it will be a place where you can recharge and become full of yourself.

Of course, we want our children to have a good time,

I hope it will be a place where people can learn that there are many different ways of living.

Miho says she temporarily lost her voice due to thyroid cancer, but after surgery she was able to sing using muscles that she had never used before.

When I hear that someone who has been singing hymns since childhood and has continued to sing ever since is now starting from scratch and searching for her own voice, even though she is groping around and unsure, I realize how strong she is.

At the same time, how much did I face myself as I parted ways with the voice that had supported me until then?

There must have been lonely and difficult days.

No one can imagine it. Only the person himself knows.

In this learning opportunity, I hope to not only learn to sing, but also to learn about her way of life.

Some people participated with that same feeling.

Miho's chatter in between each conversation makes you feel a little more relaxed and creates a comfortable atmosphere.

I am always impressed by the loving hospitality shown to everyone.

The three days I spent with Miho and the others were a very educational time.

After learning naturally and instinctively, a different world than yesterday awaits you.

Just watching my daughter walk briskly and her range of movement expand makes me realize that every day is a learning experience.

Let's continue learning and living today in a natural, stress-free manner.
