Information on "Tomohiro Ono Art Exhibition"

These days, the morning dew is dripping and you can almost hear the soothing sounds of the plants and trees.
As the autumn harvest season draws our hearts in joy, we hope you are all staying healthy.
Although the summer heat still lingers during the day in September, Utsushiki will be holding its first Ono Tomohiro Art Exhibition in three years.
This will be the first exhibition since they moved their base to the mountains and established a place that would become the foundation of their life.
How does the environment affect the work?
Please look forward to the transformation in expression.
In addition, on both weekends during the exhibition period, there will be a dinner and coffee party by Masao Doi, and a dinner party by TANE, so please look forward to those as well.

"Water and Soil"
A new form emerged as I worked with paper.
A vague object made from paper mulberry and lacquer that resembles lacquerware and an objet d'art.
The piece is based on the raw material of washi paper and is inspired by the shape of a circle (wa) born from nature.
Tomohiro Ono
Born in 1983. Since 2012, he has been working as a designer under the name Yamaka Design Room. In 2024, he plans to move to the mountains to further expand his creative activities.
