The " Masami Tokuda Exhibition" will be held from June 19th.

He has an atelier in Kagoshima Prefecture and uses wood.
I spend my days making wooden accessories and furniture, including vessels.

No two pieces are alike, and they reflect the shapes and dyeing patterns that arise by chance in nature.

We hope you will experience the charm of the wooden vessels created by Tokuda.

Masami Tokuda

Based in Kagoshima Prefecture, the company creates tableware, accessories, and furniture using wood.

He captures phenomena through sound and projects the products of chance that occur in nature into his artwork.

His works, sometimes using rotten wood and given expression with rust lacquer, are a representation of the past time that the wood lived through, and are proof that it has been alive.

Without any intentionality, I simply move my hands calmly, listening to the faint sound.
