August Cafe Information

After finishing our exhibition at Shimarisu-ya in Toyako, Hokkaido, we returned to Fukuoka to be greeted by humid weather.

From the time spent experiencing Hokkaido's comfortable climate and admiring the vast, spacious natural scenery,

Returning to Miyawaka City, I felt relieved to see the mountains and rice fields looming close by.

At this time of year, if you drive a little way through Miyawaka City, you can see Kyoho grape flags swaying in the breeze.

If you come to Miyawaka City, be sure to bring back some Kyoho grapes as a souvenir.

It's very delicious.

I also use it in the coffee shop.

The iai clothes have arrived at Utsushiki.

About 20 items have arrived, including mud-dyed clothing made from Khadi cotton that Ono purchased in India and dyed using soil from Fukuchiyama, where iai lives.

She seemed to have had a lot of fun making the garments and her excitement is palpable through the garments.

Start time: 14:00 (approximately 1.5 hours)

2 types of tea and 2 plates of sweets

Participation fee: 4,000 yen (including souvenir)

During these four days, you can use the coffee shop without making a reservation.

We offer a plate of sweets and a drink set.

On Saturday, August 10th, our staff member Konishi will be running a flower shop for a day.

Seasonal flowers are lined up.
