Information on the "BUM Exhibition"

The warm winds of early spring have arrived in Fukuoka.

The relief of seeing the mountains shrouded in mist at dusk was fleeting.

This is the first time we have invited BUM , which is based in Chihayaakasaka Village, Osaka, to introduce the

There will be an exhibition and a dinner party.

Their activities are centered around a restaurant, hair salon, and gallery.

Selling work clothes and fragrances born from everyday activities

In addition to dining and coffee, we also have an open-air beauty salon.

There will be lots of events so please look forward to it!

Cooking, cutting hair, and valuing encounters with people. We moved here because we wanted to express our lifestyles more honestly.

For us who were used to city life and the fast pace of things, everything we saw was fresh. We spent each day plowing the soil and making furrows with our trusted friends.

I put those daily records and memories into various forms.

I will be present on the first three days and will be offering meals and coffee, and on the second day I will be offering outdoor haircuts.

The exhibition will include sweets and other edible items, fragrances made by distilling the trees, plants and ingredients around us, clay sculptures (Cray Fairies) that we continue to create as pieces of everyday life, work clothes inspired by wisdom from everyday life, and the diary book "You" that we created in collaboration with the publishing company "Sarigenaku".

I am so grateful to Utsushiki for helping me take a step towards a new challenge that I never would have imagined before. I look forward to meeting new people in Fukuoka. Thank you for your continued support.

BUM
The venue will open in Chihayaakasaka Village, Osaka in the summer of 2021. The team, consisting of four members Akio Yoan, Tamio Yoan, Takuya Inoue, and Nana Hashizume, operates a restaurant, hair salon, and gallery.
