Ayurvedic Parenting

There's a bit of wisdom I heard a long time ago about Ayurvedic child-rearing that has stuck in my mind ever since.
The reason is that until the age of three, energy is sent and received through the soles of the feet, so it is better not to block them by putting socks on them.
For some reason, this idea has always stuck in my mind, and I know how important the soles of my feet are, so instead of socks I have prepared some leg warmers.
Let's put it into practice!
There is no answer so I'll just try it.
When I looked it up, I found the following about Ayurvedic parenting:
From birth to age 3, "Like a God"
From age 3 to 16, "Like a Servant"
From the age of 16, "Like a friend"
I'll keep "like God" in mind...lol
I am really looking forward to seeing how we will welcome this child as an individual.
Who am I and what purpose have I come into this world?
The hectic days of observing side by side are coming soon.
Since they are born in the cold season, I am looking forward to the day when I can make calendula oil and meet them.
Calendula oil is recommended for preventing stretch marks and drying out the skin, but it's also good for babies' diaper rash, so I'll try to stock up on plenty.
The recipe is below.
It's easy to make, so please give it a try.
If you need calendula, please let me know and I will share some with you.
Recommended oils that are relatively easy to obtain and use
・Apricot kernel ・Sweet almond oil ・Jojoba oil
The texture varies depending on the brand, so find the oil that you like.
In winter, we recommend adding jojoba oil as it creates a waxy coating.
My Recipe
If using 150g of carrier oil: 80g of apricot kernel oil
40g sweet almond oil
30g jojoba oil
Calendula dried herb approx. 15g-20g
Take the calendula herbs, place them in a glass jar and pour in the oil until the herbs are covered.
The above quantities are just for reference!
Store in a cool, dark place for about two weeks, then strain through a coffee filter and it's ready.
You can also use this oil to make shea butter cream.
It's about time to start worrying about dryness.
Make sure to try this in preparation for winter.
