Good morning◯
How did you spend your morning this morning?
After completing the Thursday learning session "Organizing Your Days" by Hinako Tanaka of Amrita,
From the next day, the way I spend my days changes little by little.
But it's not even the fourth day yet.
But as Hina-san said, "There's a difference between knowing and not knowing,"
Dinacharya, the 5000 year old wisdom of Ayurveda
Even if it's only a small part, the world you live in is different before and after you know it.
Ayurveda teaches that all things are made up of the five elements and that the workings of the human body and the universe are the same.
Dinacharya, the teaching that helps us organize our daily lives, divides the day into seven periods and explains which periods correspond to the five elements.
What I learned through this experience is that it is important to spend each day in harmony with the natural flow.
In that Dinacharya we do a lot of things in the morning.
Meditation, pulse check, mouth and nose cleansing, drinking warm water, and yoga.
It's always best to be able to do everything, but can you do it perfectly all at once?
Hina said, "It's okay if you're not perfect, but the important thing is to keep doing what you can every day."
How do you incorporate it into your daily life?
First of all, you can't do this unless you know yourself well.
To do this, I meditate and turn my attention inward.
I think it's about getting in touch with your own energy by taking your pulse.
I'll start from there.
I always want to do a lot of things in the morning! I get fired up as soon as I wake up, but I take a moment to calm down, take a deep breath, and start with a few minutes of meditation.
And, at a very good time, I was also given the opportunity to take on the Hina & Mako duo's "Kenkoyakani."
Rather than satisfying my desire for my body, I felt like I was trying to meet my true self by relaxing my body.
It was a mysterious and luxurious experience, as if I was seeing the landscape after a transformation.
"How to live" means "how to live each day"
If you think about how you want to spend your day, you will naturally see how you want to live.
The image of life is "today's self" holding hands with "yesterday's self."
The next day, and the day after that, and the series of days forms the person's appearance.
Just as trees come together to form mountains, and mountains come together to form mountain ranges,
I think one person's life is incredibly grand.
So it's natural to feel confused and worried.
I hope to create a place of learning where people can stop and think again at times like these.
This time, I realized that unlike gaining knowledge by reading books,
I felt that hearing the wisdom I gained through Hina actually speak to me made it more personal and served as a guidepost that would connect me to today and tomorrow.
Thank you for a wonderful time.
Well then, have a great day today!
