いつもありがとういただきます

Autumn is a season of sprinting from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed at night.

Both Utsushiki and Yasuhideono had two exhibitions, and it was a very fulfilling October with the nursery school and elementary school sports days and field trips.

The goldenrod blooming in the field has turned from yellow to fluffy, and the rice fields have finished harvesting.

Even though I am so close, when I lose consciousness for a moment I suddenly realize that the scenery is in a different place.

Since the beginning of this year, the store's structure has been gradually changing, and I've been at the store more often than before.

On weekends, I work at the store even though I have children.

The customers are all very warm and welcoming, and the children seem happy when they are spoken to.

I can't take you anywhere, but we can pick flowers together in the garden in front of the shop.

We run around and I'm grateful for all of the surroundings, which I think are a part of the scenery in my home.

At some point, the feeling of gratitude began to well up from the bottom of my heart.

I realized that there was nothing strange about putting my hands together.

I also feel like I'm saying "thank you" more often.

At home, before meals

I put my hands together and say, "Thank you always."

When they are hungry and can't wait, they speak quickly and it doesn't seem like they are putting their heart into it...

I saw her doing the same thing not only at home but also when she went out to eat.

I think those words are engraved in the children’s minds.

When they grow up a little, it may inspire them to think about how we exist through the actions we take every day.

There are ten thousand souls in one grain of rice, seven gods in one grain of rice,

Perhaps because I grew up in a rice-producing region, I often heard and saw words related to rice.

I remember my grandparents, who were born during the war, pouring hot water into their rice bowls and finishing their meal neatly to the very last bite.

I often saw him clasping his hands together and saying, "Thank you, thank you," and I wondered why he went to such lengths.

However, even if you are told to be grateful to your grandparents when you are young, you don't really understand ...

I was taken to play in the rice fields and the vegetable fields, and I learned that without clean water, soil, microorganisms, sun, and human hands, we can't eat rice.

It wasn't until I was in my 20s that I started thinking about this, and I was overcome with a sense of sadness that I would disappear when I imagined the scenery of rice fields disappearing. I began to think that not only rice and I, but everything is connected.

The fact that I exist here because of the intersection of so many connections is a miracle and a very precious thing.

I would like to believe that once we understand this, we will be able to think about how we should behave.

I am still experimenting with how to convey this to my child.

For now, take the initiative and expand from the people you are with and the place you are in now.

I want to never forget that we should continue to be grateful and fearless from the bottom of our hearts, even as we reach far into space.

When I get busy or I'm working alone, I tend to feel self-deprecating and think, "It's always me ... " lol

At times like these, it's important to show gratitude and respect to those around you.

Now that November has arrived, it feels like things have finally settled down, but maybe not.

Starting this weekend on the 18th (Sat), the exhibition of woodworker Masami Tokuda will begin. This exhibition captures Tokuda 's current work.

A refined way of life is present in every detail of the work. Please come and see for yourself.

Have a great week this week too !
