The sea before the typhoon

Noserumi

There have been heavy rains and typhoons all over the country recently.
The Sanin and Kansai regions seem to have been greatly affected yesterday and today, and my heart aches when I think of the people suffering from disasters all over the country and the world. Tomorrow could be any of us. Please stay safe.
Now, whenever a typhoon or other natural disaster feels close to home, there is something I feel.
This is due to the high adaptability and flexibility of the people who are natives of the sea and mountains.
Their views of nature, endowed with deep wisdom and sensitivity, are completely different from those of us who live modern urban lives.

The people of this island, where almost all of their homes were destroyed or partially destroyed in an earthquake, are resilient...
Well, maybe it was originally like that, but rather than trying to control the changing nature
The words of people who live in a world where they have no choice but to adapt and survive are
In a society that has been filled with sad news in recent years, I would say, without fear of being misunderstood, that it appears to be a sign of hope.
As someone who lives in a society where we don't know what will happen next,
I want to step into tomorrow with humility and strength, if only on a mental level.
It's cool in Fukuoka today. I hope everyone has a great day.
