Rainy season and work
Noserumi

The rainy season is well-known
Every year I am impressed by the names given to things by our ancestors who lived in the Japanese archipelago, which has four seasons.
Have you started working on your plums this year?
It's quite difficult to coordinate the timing of your daily life with the timing of the plum blossoms.
Plums don't wait for you, and neither do the things of life...
Meanwhile, this year our plum harvest is bumper.
It easily weighs over 10kg, so we shared some with our neighbors.
One day, between a series of rainy days and business trips, the sun was shining.
"Today is the only day," I thought to myself, and continued to harvest.
I was mesmerized as I gazed upon the colander after I'd finished.
The sweet scent and each color is so beautiful that it touches the soul.

In recent years, I have been trying to use fully ripe plums in syrups and other things besides umeboshi.
I was thinking of doing it again this year, but half of the plums I had were green and yellow, so
While the umeboshi plums are allowed to ripen further, the syrup is bottled while still remaining blue or yellow.
I won't be away from home tomorrow and the day after, so I have no choice but to do it when I can!
And when I do that and it feels good, I feel really happy.
Seasonal work.
It seems to be just right for me to adapt my strategy without forcing myself.
When you can't do it, just accept that you can't, and only do it when you're on the same wavelength.
This is where your personality comes out ^^

Imagine mixing the finished syrup with soda and drinking it on the veranda on a summer evening...
I hope I can start this summer feeling refreshed.
