indigo gypsy bag
Yasuhide Ono

During my last visit to India, about 4 months ago.
Since I was going to open a store, I spent every day thinking about what to create to go with it.
What exactly can I create through the connections I have made with the creators I have made while traveling the world, like a “Utsushiki”?
While touring various workshops, I came across a certain dyeing workshop.
At the time, I had some scraps of vintage Indian fabric I had on hand experimentally dyed with indigo, and the brightly colored Indian mirror work vintage fabric's gaudy look (which was attractive in itself) disappeared, resulting in the scraps taking on a more subdued bluish hue.
I thought this was great and decided to make a bag out of it, and finally received the bag I ordered during my last visit to India.
"Indigo gypsy bag"
It was made using five pieces of old Indian cloth.
What shape should we make?
I personally find it inconvenient if I don't have both hands free, whether in everyday life or when traveling (purely personal reasons), so this time I chose a shoulder bag.
The shoulder part is also made of luxurious embroidered antique cloth.
The lining is made of cotton canvas to increase strength.
There is an inner pocket the size of a business card holder on the inside.
It's the perfect accent for my husband and I, who usually wear simple, understated clothing.
This will expand the range of your coordination.
Make sure it's the right length whether you wear it over your shoulder or across your body.
indigo gypsy bag ¥17000(with tax)
There are no two bags that are the same, so please come and find your favorite bag.
Before we knew it, there was not much time left this year.
I wonder how many more times I'll be able to update my blog this year.
We are hoping to open the webshop within the year (this is just a hope), so please wait a little longer.
