Chikuni Exhibition - Ming Dynasty -

This is the last exhibition of the year.
It's a little while away, but please put it in your schedule.
The Chikuni exhibition "Darkness" will be held from December 9th.
This time, a new piece by Chikuni will also be unveiled, which resembles a reflecting space.
As always, we are the ones looking forward to it the most.
This time, we will be inviting OLAibi from Tottori to perform a live show on December 10th under the lighting direction of Chikuni, so please look forward to that as well.
If you would like to receive a DM, please send us a message with your name and address.
We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Chikuni Exhibition [Ming]
A ray of hope is beginning to emerge in the future
The works created by Chikuni give us this feeling of refinement as we spend our daily lives together. Perhaps people are seeking a gentle light that illuminates the darkness. As we think of the lights shining in the winter scenery that illuminates the days of many people, we wait for that moment as if we are waiting for the light of dawn.

OLAibi profile
Beat the drums and sing songs.
From an early age, I began to think deeply about Africa. I learned words I didn't know.
I know songs I don't know.
That was the beginning of my interest in West African drumming.
OLAIbi is the name of a Hopi village, and I simply felt that the sounds "a" and "i" were soothing.
Since 2002, he has been active both domestically and internationally as the drummer for the band OOIOO.
In addition, he has produced commercials, film music, and performed in various collaborative live shows.
In 2013, he left his long life in Tokyo and moved to a place deep in the forest.
In a 20,000m2 desolate jungle, the family of three slowly carved out space to stand on and built a hut, which they named "HUT," and which became a new place for their productions and presentations.
Then he left the band and felt a bit lost.
Seeing this, her husband and son decided to build a small music hut.
The studio allows you to hear all the outside sounds.
In 2017, he launched the label "sunet"
The sounds created in that music hut have now been released on CD.
"Mimiwasu"
If you listen in the darkness, you can hear countless stories.
Their new activity involves loading a wooden sound system into their car and going to perform for people they meet.
