Chikuni is an interior decorator who works in furniture making, lighting design, interior decoration, and runs the atelier and gallery "10watts field & gallery" in Yokohama. Chiku-ni means "tree" in Ainu, and as such, he mainly creates wooden works. His works, which are made with minimal intention and movement, are both simple and have a depth that makes them seem as if they have existed in the space for a long time.
