Workwear with a rich, rustic texture. Made from roughly woven, pastoral cotton, hand-spun in Bengal from South Indian cotton. Everyday nora haori and tatsuke, shoulder bags, and a primitive-style kantogi dress. The beautiful, textured colours are piece-dyed. White clay shells, Ryukyu indigo like the clear deep sea that reflects the universe, Sumiyamahara indigo made by layering ink and Ryukyu indigo, mud dyeing soil from the naturally rich Amami Oshima, and wild roses. Reactive dyes include black, dawn, nectar, and hibiscus. From the hazy shapes that emerge as the past and present overlap. Clothing that gives the impression of a dream emerging from reality, transcending dimensions.
