COSMIC WONDER Striped Silk Cotton Dream Wrap Culottes

A delicate, sheer, light dream garment. Made from supple, elegant striped silk and cotton fabric spun and handwoven in Bengal from silk and cotton from South India. A haori with rich draping, a shirt and shirt dress worn back and forth, and cool, loose-fitting wrap culottes. The beautiful, textured colours are piece-dyed. White clay shells, Ryukyu indigo like the clear deep sea that reflects the universe, Sumiyamahara indigo made by layering ink and Ryukyu indigo, mud dyeing soil traditional to the naturally rich Amami Oshima, and wild roses. Reactive dyes include black, dawn, nectar, and hibiscus. The past and present overlap in a hazy shape. A garment that gives the impression of a dream emerging from reality, transcending dimensions.
