India Part 4

Yasuhide Ono

The 11-day stay in Jaipur was successfully completed, and the experience, from searching for stones to making parts and even trying clothes for the first time, was very satisfying.
I really enjoy my busy days, checking samples and actually doing the work myself, polishing stones and drilling holes.
Every evening we are invited for dinner by the stonemason and his family and the craftsmen, where we enjoy delicious home-cooked Indian food.
This is many times more delicious than eating it at a restaurant.
Once again I made many new encounters and am really looking forward to coming back to this city again next time.
Our next destination was Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City, located in Rajasthan.
This city was one of the settings for the movie "Falling Kingdom."
I was told that if I like antiques I should go there once, so this was my first time here.
I don't usually carry a guidebook with me, so when I visit a city for the first time, I just walk around.
I just keep walking after picking out a spot.
What you see here becomes your own experience.
In this age where various information is easily accessible, I truly want to cherish my own experiences.
I found such a great place that I felt I had found what I needed right away.
We will be introducing them little by little in the future, so please look forward to it.
