Something that represents a person

In recent years, we have been hearing more and more about the passing of designers who led the Japanese fashion world. These are people who, shortly after the war, continued to advocate new choices on the global stage and remained active throughout their lives. Although I was entrusted with writing articles about fashion, I have spent half my life ignorant of trends = fashion, and have somehow observed the world of fashion from afar. However, there is one person I feel a special attachment to: Issey Miyake, who developed Issey Miyake.
The reason was quite simple; my father often wore them. Rather than knowing him as a designer, I have a strong memory of clothes as a scene from my childhood. Pleat's Please, a representative design that explores what can be done with a single piece of cloth, was always rolled up and carried in my bag when I went on business trips. I was intrigued by the mysterious fabric, which is free like origami and stretches with its shape memory, and it may have been the first time I became interested in fabrics. Then there was a shirt with attractive buttons that you will never forget once you see it. It is a kind of beautiful, complete sculpture in the shape of a piece of clothing, but it is clothing that is not relegated to a museum and is made with the premise of being worn daily as everyday wear.
Being self-employed, my father often came to visit my school. At the time, my father, dressed in Issey clothes, stood out among the mothers who were dressed nicely in suits and smelling of makeup. I'm sure I must have seemed very strange to the elementary school kids in the countryside (including me). I used to feel a little uneasy when I heard the whispered rumors. Even so, I remember my father's image in those clothes as something that made a strong impression on me as a child, as it shaped his character.
Surprisingly, people's impressions are based on what they wear when they spend time together.
I think they create an image to represent that person.
For example, when we were children, we might have had the experience of pulling on someone's sleeve to avoid getting separated from others in a crowd, only to discover that they were wearing similar clothes. Or, when we saw a stranger on the street wearing the same clothes, we thought, "That's someone I know," or, "That's the kind of outfit that person would like." Clothes can remind us of someone, not just when they are in front of us.
With the Obon festival over, the air seems to have become fresher and fresher. The seasons have taken another step forward, and it will soon be time for autumn attire to take over. When you put on the clothes you have always wanted to wear, they may become an indispensable part of your style before you know it.

Tussah silk is woven from silk threads taken from wild silkworms, also known as wild silkworms. The uneven threads have natural neps here and there, which is its charm. It has a soft luster and is suitable for everyday wear as well as special occasions. Nohara's unique garments are made with careful attention to detail, and no two are exactly alike, giving you a sense of elation as if you are transformed when you wear them.
