The Importance of Words

Hello.
I realize that questions and discoveries are always present all around me in my daily life, and I try to learn as many new knowledge as I can, even from small things.
Looking back on the past three months, I was reminded of the importance of words.
Because I am not good at asserting myself or communicating, there are times when I think I converse with people based on my own interpretation of their gestures, facial expressions, tone of voice, and the atmosphere of the situation.
I often feel that I have an unconscious resistance to words, wanting to listen and listen to words, but being more interested in other things than the words, or thinking about things other than what is being said.
I suddenly wondered what words I could use to express this feeling that I had been feeling every day, without even thinking about it.
The word "self-defense" came up while I was studying my personality, behavior, and psychology.
It's not important that the word is 100% correct; among the many words available, it's interesting and fun to predict and discover which ones might apply. The more I research, the more I increase the number of times I encounter words, and I conduct experiments every day in the hope that this will gradually ease my "unconscious resistance to words."
By the way, changing the subject.
I am very honored to announce that my work is being exhibited at Utsushiki!
The scenery we see in our everyday lives, such as on our commute or while taking a walk.
The exhibition features photographs of landscapes that seem to be noticed but are not, printed on shoji paper dyed with plants found in the landscape, such as Japanese kaya, tall fescue, and kudzu.
I hope this week will be a learning one for you!
