A small story about the garden

Ono Karori

On the way to the store from the exit of the highway,
Around the old school building and along the riverbank, cherry trees with branches spreading freely are in full bloom.
At the foot of the garden, lush little persimmons are dotted, and the large white petals of magnolias reach up to the sky.
Everyone seems to be celebrating spring.
The other day, Yasu from gibeta trimmed down the trees in Utsushiki, which had been growing out of control.
The air circulation improves and light shines on the hidden plants.
So that I could feel the breathing of the little ones I couldn't see.
Within a few years, the two eucalyptus trees, which were only waist-high, had grown to tower over the roof.
Its head can be seen from the main street, making it a symbolic mark to help ascertain its location.
A night when a typhoon is approaching
The eucalyptus trees swaying wildly in the darkness
It also reminded me of the Mochimochi tree in the fairy tale, a scary tree with its hair fluttering all over the sky.
But when I saw the tree that I had pruned,
My daughter said, "It's nice and refreshing, but I feel a little lonely."
And it was as if the tree's presence changed within her.
In fact, the tree was planted around the time she was born.
Perhaps somewhere deep down they sense that they are spending the same time together.
Even on school days, I could feel the wind by the way the eucalyptus leaves swayed, and if I saw them on my way home from school, they would let me know that I was almost there.
A week has passed and you probably don't think anything of it anymore lol
A garden with a radius of just a few meters always holds small discoveries and joys.
I want to continue feeling the passing of time.
The exhibition "Oriental Visions - Between Memory and Transformation" began inside the store on March 28th.
The museum displays antiques and tools from all over Asia, works by contemporary artists, minerals and fossils.
It's a place and time gone wrong. Being there brings about a mysterious feeling.
I hope that viewers will enjoy it and that it will bring back memories for them.
And one more thing.
We invited Taka and Aya Okamoto , environmental activists and fertilizer-free growers.
Starting on Thursday, May 15th, we are planning to hold six workshops per month to encourage people to adopt a more self-sufficient lifestyle.
We will announce the details as soon as they are decided, so please look forward to it.
Have a great week!
