Follow the Spring

The cherry blossoms this year seem somehow different from usual.
I usually feel more attracted to plum and peach blossoms than cherry blossoms.
Also, I prefer buds and blooming flowers to fully bloomed ones.
There are times when I feel comfortable being a little off the beaten path.
And yet, for some reason, I'm really curious about this year
The cherry trees planted along the mountain path I use to commute to work usually fall within about ten days, but
It looks like it is clinging to the branch and trying desperately to avoid falling.
Maybe it's because the flower path illuminated by the warm spring light is so beautiful and touching.
This morning view gives me a push
I think the way I feel about flowers changes at least in part through the membrane of emotions I have now.
When the heart is cheerful,
I felt like the flowers were celebrating with me.
When I'm in a bad mood, they seem to comfort me.
Sometimes such a presence can help me feel better.
The way things look and feel is something that can only be achieved by the state a person is in at that moment. Now that it is difficult for people to meet in person,
The online way
Every day I feel so grateful to be able to communicate through things.
There is someone who requests it,
What's possible thanks to the relay-like connections of postmen and delivery companies
Despite the ever-changing situation, the plants in the Utsushiki continue to grow as usual.
They grow steadily day by day, using the sun, soil, and water as nourishment.
A glimpse into ancient Japanese literature reveals how people from the past expressed their feelings to those they could never meet.
Following the example of attaching a plant to a letter,
I also carefully attach the following to the letter.
I hope we can meet someday,
We deliver plants that contain the mimicking environment to you.
I would be happy if you could receive even a little bit of Utsushiki with the items you choose.
Finally, only a few cherry blossom petals remained on the trees.
From now on, the land will become greener and greener.
We too are bathed in light,
I hope I can live a healthy life just like the plants do, blowing in the wind.
