Each Perspective

それぞれの視点

Seen from afar, far away

Only the colors float vaguely.

If you get a little closer, the closer you get the more shapes will appear.

If we get closer and closer and even penetrate into the plant,

What kind of world will unfold?

Utsushiki was the first time I saw the works of Haiiro Ookami + Flower Shop Nishibeppu Shoten in person.

It was a name I heard somewhere and it's stuck in my head ever since.

A world I've always wanted to see.

I know the names of the plants in this work and I know their complete picture.

When I worked at a florist, I used to bundle these up with lots of other plants.

Think of it as one flower or one piece.

And yet I had never seen it this way.

Be careful not to damage the parts from each plant.

They are made by gently touching and scooping them up.

An incredibly delicate job.

When you focus closely on the details, it looks really interesting.

The assembled form is so inspiring.

When I talk to customers about his work,

You might be feeling a little excited.

The concept I have developed through my work with plants is,

It was easily destroyed by Nishibeppu's work.

The things I had assumed in my head were obvious.

It makes a pleasantly light and refreshing sound.

That's how I gained a new perspective.

Today is the beginning of spring.

Spring begins.

The plants are still sleeping in the soil, covered in cold air.

From now on, I will start to get up.

The Utsushiki Garden looks like it's going to be lively.

Starting on February 9th, the exhibition "Yellow Wolf + Flower Shop Nishibeppu Shoten"

The plants that Nishibeppu uses may be lurking in the Utsushiki Garden.

Whether you are familiar with plants on a daily basis or not,

Come experience for yourself what kind of world you will encounter.

We are still accepting reservations for the cafe and live performances, so please come along and check them out.

For inquiries and reservations, please contact us by phone or email.
