Accept the present

A special exhibition celebrating the sixth anniversary of Utsushiki.
Shoda x Arisa Kawai Couple Exhibition "Tamakiharu"
Some people came multiple times, while others lost track of time and stayed the whole day.
Thanks to the many people who showed their support, we were able to spend many happy moments together, and the event came to a quiet close with an evening banquet.
We would like to thank everyone who was involved.
Immediately after the long journey from Wakayama, we set up camp in the heavy rain caused by a typhoon.
The next day, the weather was fine, as if to ease their troubles.
Everything was completely washed, and the morning sun gently embraced everything with its light, casting a warm outline over everything.
I felt that this scene was very similar to the feeling I got from Shoda's paintings.
They named the naturally rich area where they moved to Irodoriyama.
The view there is unobstructed, the sky is wide, and it is said that you can see the sun and the white moon during the day at the same time.
The sun and moon woven by Arisa out of plants appear in Shoda's huge painting titled "The World."
Scenes that are difficult to realize appear and life that does not exist here at present is present in the paintings.
There was a mysterious atmosphere in this world, as if things that would normally not happen were just appearing naturally.
On the final day, Arisa Kawai's singing event
Arisa values her sense of the moment and creates a variety of expressions.
The song had just started, so it was a moving moment to be able to join in on this memorable event.
In the ten years since we first met, I've only been able to meet him so many times that you could count the number of times on both hands.
I remember many events vividly that I received from her.
I always feel encouraged by the fact that these things are secretly helping me.
This singing gathering too.
I never wanted to forget the things that flowed through my skin and into my body.
Born, alive, alive again
Like a Venn diagram, the small points where the numerous circles that each person possesses intersect expand a momentary landscape, making us realize that we are here and now.
After all the events had finished, food was waiting for us from Juri Millet, who had hosted dinner parties during the event.
Even though Juri wasn't there, she came into our bodies as if to hug us all.
I was amazed at how strong she was, continuing to make the vegetables without even taking a break, and she gave me a bright smile and said, "That's the power of vegetables!"
A video of Arisa's singing event will be available to watch soon.
Even if you were unable to make it to the event, we hope you will enjoy it through the screen.
The "Tamakiharu" exhibition expanded the two of them's current lives throughout their bodies
In fact, I was able to be there every day, so I think I enjoyed it the most.
Once the event is over, the empty vessel is ready to mark this moment and move on to the next thing.
With deepest gratitude.
