A fresh start

心機一転

nice to meet you

My name is Tatsuya Suzuki, an apprentice at Oda who has been helping out at Utsushiki since May.
At Utsushiki, we learn from everyone at Utsushiki every day, mainly through online updates and photographing works.

As each day passes, I realize there are things I don't know, don't understand, and haven't noticed, but I also enjoy learning various things using words, my body, and my five senses.

I have been taking photos of plants and landscapes since I was a university student.
Rather than simply taking photographs, I like taking photographs that change the image and shape of a fixed image from one that shows an image in front of me, and I have continued taking photographs like this for a long time.

In the process, I would experimentally look at other people's photos and try to imitate them through trial and error, muttering to myself things like, "This photo is really cool, I love it," "I wonder how they took it," and "I'm trying to imitate it, but it's completely different."
It's so much fun that you'll lose track of time as you admire and are drawn to the photos.
It's also a chance for me to spend some comfortable time.

I first learned about Utsushiki about three years ago and it remained an object of my admiration, hoping that I would be able to visit it someday.

As I learned about the lifestyle and culture that Utsushiki represents, and the artworks it handles,
My eye was caught by several photos posted on the account "Oda Video Production Office / Yuta Oda" and I discovered the presence of Oda-senpai, whom I respect.

I am attracted to photography itself, it's just a prerequisite, not a reason.

The scenery and place in front of you,
The attitude and confidence to capture fleeting moments,
The multifaceted and multifaceted perspectives of watching and observing,
I am attracted to and admire the people themselves, with so many details, including their editing skills, that it's impossible to list them all.

The above is a photo of Oda-senpai, whom I particularly like and respect.

We will now embark on the path of light that will allow us to explore together an unknown world that we have never experienced before.
I will spare no effort and preparation to be able to get on board, and I will work hard every day with unfounded confidence.

Thank you very much for your support!!

I hope this week will be a learning one for you!

Tatsuya Suzuki
