Mirrors - A Journey Through Time - at STARDUST

This is an announcement for Yasuhide Ono 's first exhibition of the year.

We will be having an exhibition at STARDUST in Kyoto starting next Friday, March 3rd.

As this is my first exhibition in the Kansai region, I am very excited to see what I will encounter.

At this exhibition, we will be selling accessories, minerals and antiques that we have collected, as well as herbal teas.

There will also be a talk show for the first time on the 4th (Sat), so please come along.

Utsushiki will be open as usual during the exhibition period, so please come and visit us.

Mirrors -A journey through time-

The sights and events she has seen while traveling around the world since she started making accessories.
For me, travelling has broadened my horizons in life.
During my journey in search of minerals and accessory parts, I came across some beautiful things that remain all over the world.
The more I learned about it, the more I wanted many people to see it, so I created Atelier Gallery Utsushiki.

The meaning of the word "utsushiki" is unique to Japan, and includes the changing seasons, the ancient word for all living things, and the modern world where old and new coexist.
This word was created by combining meanings that evoke things like "beautiful."

The tools that human beings have continued to make out of necessity in order to live, the expressions and textures that have accumulated over time, the unintended natural beauty of minerals that the earth has produced over hundreds of millions of years, the things that we want to leave behind for the future that transcend the time axis regardless of country, place, past or present.

We want to create and share these accessories, and we put our hearts into all the things we collect.
I would be delighted if you could feel something, even just a little, from this exhibition in the wonderful space of STARDUST.
