The Season of Beginnings
The temperature goes up and down.
The world is still in a frenzy over the Omicron strain, but before we know it, we'll be entering a time when seasons and seasonal ingredients are changing.
As usual, nature changes to a paler landscape, and it's the season for delicious rape blossoms and turnips.
It's the beginning of my favorite season.
For Oda, spring is the season of beginnings.
I think it's because it brings to mind images of entering kindergarten, school, or work, but Oda is also planning to start something this spring, and as I mentioned briefly in this blog before, he would like to start studying developing and printing from around April. 
The first camera I ever picked up was, naturally, a digital camera, so I had no connection to the world of developing and printing. I didn't go to a photography or video school, so I had no knowledge or connections. But it's the modern age that makes me feel like I can get started. If you open the internet, you can instantly figure out what you need to develop and print. You can get what you need cheaply on a flea market app. I honestly don't know what direction the times will go in from now on, but for now, I want to live my life fully intending to take advantage of the benefits of this age.
By the way, I recently moved to a house that has a garden, so I thought I'd try my hand at a little DIY. I made a cupboard while looking at the internet and thinking, "This is not it, that is not it." When I started making it, I thought, "I can make it surprisingly well," even though I was clumsy, and I wondered, "So how did they put together this bookshelf?" and realized, "That means that chair must have taken a lot of work..."
In this day and age, information is readily available. Rather than understanding it with your head, you need to properly digest and understand it with your body. I've been thinking for the past few years that this is really important. I think repeating this process is what helps me grow and enriches my life.
There's only a little time left until the beginning of the season.
I would like to continue preparing for developing and printing so that I can get off to a good start.
Why not take this opportunity to start something new?
