While I was holding exhibitions, I had the opportunity to see the work of many different ceramic artists in galleries and shops and talk to them face to face. I was always searching for the type of pottery I would like, and that's when I found this teacup.
It was love at first sight.
This is a work by Ishihara Yoshimitsu, who also makes pottery in Miyawaka city.
Although it has the look and texture of a rock, the part that touches your mouth is thin, giving it a combination of ruggedness and delicacy.
We also have two types of utensils available: teacup size and sake cup size.
Teacup size: Height 7cm x Width 7cm x Diameter 6.5cm
Sake cup size: Height 5cm x Width 6.5cm x Diameter 6cm

Each one has a different expression, so be sure to find your favorite one.

It's been a week since we opened the shop yesterday.
Due to the location being hard to find, the phone rings every time, asking "I think I'm nearby, but where is the store?" I feel sorry every time, but at the same time, I'm happy that the phone rings again.
The shop is open every day except Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so if you happen to be passing through Miyawaka City in Fukuoka on your way somewhere, be sure to stop by.
