Running through the seasons

On a pleasant breezy evening, the LIFT Yagi Ryosuke exhibition came to a close with a baobab concert.
Thank you to everyone who came to the exhibition.
On the last day, the layout of all the artworks was completely rearranged, and the place we usually spend time in had a completely different look. I think we, the staff, were the most surprised.
Adults and children alike have a great time walking around in a circle, surrounded by the sound.
I was captivated by Yagi's spatial circus for eight days until the very end.
The exhibition will be streamed on YouTube at a later date.
Whether you were able to attend the venue or not, we hope you will enjoy it.
You can also see Tenogi's dinner party and Takakura Yuriko's dressing up.
Thank you for a 5th anniversary celebration that was like a blessing.
And after a few more sleeps,
Utsushiki will be holding its first MITTAN exhibition.
MITTAN, which we have been selling for a long time, is so popular that some people have several of the same model.
Before you know it, you'll find yourself wearing it every day, making it an indispensable item.
At this exhibition, you will also be able to wear clothes that have been specially made to order with a utsushi design.
Before we begin, we will soon be releasing a video introducing MITTAN.
Mr. Mitani's opening words brought back memories that I hold dear.
This is something I want you to take seriously.
About MITTAN
MITTAN is based on the history of clothing and fabrics around the world.
We offer modern ethnic clothing.
Reinterpreting the flat structure,
By combining this with the inherent functionality of natural materials,
Not bound by the passing trends of the times,
I aim to make clothes that will last a long time.
Production background: The fabrics used are mainly machine-woven from various parts of Japan, such as Enshu, Banshu, and Bishu, as well as hand-woven from Asia, such as India and Laos.
Whenever possible, our designers visit the weaving mills directly and are also working on developing unique materials.
In addition, we mainly use cotton thread for sewing, woven labels,
We use natural materials for quality labels, buttons and other accessories.
The products are sewn at affiliated factories in Japan.
In addition to the usual dyes, they also use plants, indigo, insects, and minerals.
We see the uneven color transitions as a beautiful feature.
Social Responsibility: We have been repairing and re-dyeing our products since the brand was founded in 2013.
The continuous development of standard products is our way of rebelling against a production structure that assumes mass disposal.
This is a major reason why we established the brand.
Also, by continuing to convey the background from various angles,
We aim to bring clothes that have become distant, both mentally and physically, back into our everyday lives, leading to continued wearing.
