The influence of Qi

Thank you for viewing "Earth, Body, Space" at the Yamagata Biennale.
As the release date approached, the pressure was growing day by day as we wondered how best to convey Utsushiki's theme of "earth, body, universe" and how much of the feelings of the people we interviewed, Iai, Nohara, Shoutatsu, and Arisa, could be conveyed through the footage.
Wanting to give it my all and not be crushed by the pressure, I was busy shooting up until the day before the release and editing up until the night before, and I regret causing trouble to those involved in the Biennale.
However, by persevering until the very end, I feel that I was able to create something that I truly wanted as many people as possible to see.
I hope this video can reach more people.
This is where the main topic begins.
Perhaps I was too concerned with editing the footage for the Biennale, but I now realize that I became noticeably absent-minded after that.
I thought I was taking a short break, but I ended up wasting a week. Humans tend to take the easier route when we let our guard down.
I have come to realise just how unproductive time is when you spend it idly.
My personality is such that I can't get motivated unless Ono-san gives me a pep talk and gives me a push.
I don't really like doing things because someone tells me to, but if I don't think about how to stop being told that, I'll keep getting told that for the rest of my life.
Honestly admit that you are not doing what you are being told to do, make an effort to change, and live each day consciously so that you are improving even just a little bit from yesterday to today, and from today to tomorrow. That's all there is to it now.
The MITTAN exhibition is currently undergoing rave reviews.
I will always be thinking about what I can do now, and hope to keep the exhibition exciting until the final day.
It would be best if you could try on the clothes in-store, but we are also preparing to sell them online towards the end of the season so that those who can't make it to the store can still enjoy them.
Please look forward to that as well.
