Nishibeppu Hisayuki Art Exhibition "Symbiosis"
Thank you to everyone who came to visit us on the first and second days.
We believe that those who come to watch will be able to fully enjoy the Nishibeppu world.
On the first day, we went for a walk in the mountain behind our house and then had a workshop on making wall-hanging objects.
The weather was lovely, sunny and just a little hot.
After a brief self-introduction and an explanation of the piece that Nishibeppu will be making today, we headed for the mountain behind the shop, a short walk away.
Each participant collected a lot of materials for the workshop.
Everyone seemed very serious, and what was originally scheduled to take about an hour to find materials ended up being about an hour and a half.
After a harmonious hike in the mountains, everyone looked at the materials they had brought home and worked on their respective pieces of art with such concentration that they were speechless.
They work silently with serious expressions on their faces.
Mr. Nishibeppu, who was called "sensei" by the participants, had excellent technique.
The plants are overflowing with inspiration and we will be adding to everyone's work.
Little by little it takes shape.
And it's finished.
The workshop was originally scheduled to last two and a half hours, but it went over time and some participants had to leave, so the teacher gave each participant a few words of advice in the order in which they completed their pieces.
A variety of unique works.
From wall-mounted items,
Hanging type,
Reversible design,
And even the lampshade.
There are many high quality items that you will personally want to own!
These are unique works that truly make you feel that each one is different and each one is good.
The final dish was a delicious gorgonzola cheesecake and herbal tea prepared by staff member Tashiro ( kiki product ).
I hope that everyone who participated had a wonderful time filled with smiles and thoughts.
Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience that made us so happy just watching.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Nishibeppu for his courage in deciding to stay an extra night instead of returning to Tokyo on the evening flight that day.
Nishibeppu Hisayuki's exhibition will be held without any breaks until the 17th (Sunday), so please come and visit with your friends.
It's still the same confusing place.
If you are coming by car, Google Maps seems to be more accurate than a car navigation system.
I would like as many people as possible to see it.
That's the kind of space it is! (Raising the bar)
