I don't want to end up in a situation where I buy something only to quickly lose affection for it and end up losing the joy of using it.
"Handmade works are available nearby"
I have recently come to realise that having unique, handmade works around me in my daily life often stirs emotions in me.
Even though it is a part of our daily lives, there are times when we suddenly think, "What a wonderful piece of work."
We sometimes have lively conversations with the artists through these unique pieces.
This may be because both parties share a mutual love for the work, going beyond the relationship of buyer and seller.
The products sold at Utsushiki include antiques that bear traces of handiwork that have been passed down through the years, as well as works by people who are serious about and practice daily life and craftsmanship.
Since we'll be together every day, I want to choose my belongings and the space around me that I like.
