Celebrating Spring

Thank you for making the Hioki Tetsuya Exhibition a huge success.
After "selecting" a piece, you can then enjoy the fun of using it and accumulating marks.
The seasons have changed in the blink of an eye and the weather is now pleasant.
The warmth of today is completely different from yesterday, and it's amazing the power that can change the world overnight.
Soon the lengths of day and night will be reversed.
Shivering from the cold, the clothes I had been piling up like a snowman were gradually being removed one by one, and the long-awaited spring arrived.
The Nohara x Kagetsubi exhibition will be held from March 19th to 27th.
We are looking forward to inviting many dear guests and making it a lively spring festival.
This is my third time here and it's a very familiar field .
Although he has now moved to Kyoto and his environment has changed, he seems to be concentrating on creating clothes in his spacious workshop.
Combined with beautiful and precise stitching, it gives you a special sense of security when you wear it.
The scraps are then turned into small items.
It's fascinating to come on the first day and see how the pieces are shared and shaped.
This exhibition marks the beginning of the company's first venture, Kagetsubi , which was held shortly after the company became independent.
He moved from the Kanto region to the neighboring town of Kurate and is in the gallery almost every day.
They will be happy to advise you on even the most detailed aspects.
Both "nohara" and "kagetsubi" are kanji that are learned in the lower grades of elementary school.
It is no exaggeration to say that many people are familiar with not only the appearance of each individual character, but also the scenery and existence of this character.
I have been fascinated by Anne of Green Gables since I was a child and there is a passage in the story that comes to mind:
"They say a rose would smell as sweet no matter what other name it was called, but I don't think that's true.
If it was called milk thistle or skunk cabbage it wouldn't smell as good."
I remember that even as a child I found it strangely convincing.
I believe that the impression a name leaves behind eventually forms an unshakable whole, along with the memories that accumulate over time.
The reverse is also true; having a name also plays a role in helping you move towards that goal.
Along with their familiar name, the things they create have become a part of our daily lives, so much so that we almost forget what it was like when they weren't there.
Mokujin Cafe will be there to liven up the exhibition.
Their family has grown, and they have a new base and a new operating name.
I want people to know about activities that value daily life and give them a sense of strong roots.
It seems there's a little treat lurking in this cafe.
Come to the cafe to relax and rejuvenate yourself, then take your time to enjoy the artwork.
Maika's solo performance Meadow concert on the final day
Maika, who has expanded the world many times with her baobab and choruses, has created solo music that calms the mind and makes you want to take it in with your whole body.
One of the attractions of Utsushiki concerts is that you can enjoy them right next to the performers.
The old gassho-style building absorbs the sound and breathes it, permeating the air with it.
I'm looking forward to being able to experience it here.
I hope to spend time with you all.
There's a lot of content to enjoy, but you'll be so engrossed from start to finish that you'll probably only need to blink a moment.
Well then, let's meet at Utsushiki.
