Once upon a time...

I love stories that start with openings like this and have been familiar with them since I was a child.

One day I realized that the reason for this is because the ending always ends with "happily ever after."

No matter what happens, the destination is always the same,

This is because there is an ending that can be imagined with some sense of security.

This year in Fukuoka, the year began with a rare blanket of white scenery, and as we approach mid-January, the opening of 2021 has arrived.

In this area, people are not used to snow, so it is difficult to get your car out and go outside.

After moving, we now have only the bare necessities in our home, and although there are some inconveniences, it was a quiet discovery to find joy in them.

I realized that I was usually so caught up in my own selfish concept of time that I wasn't able to complete each day, so I made it a new rule for myself to write a diary.

Looking back, I realize that each day I tend to focus on the things I couldn't do.

Today is just a continuation of yesterday, but by acknowledging today, we may be able to make the most of tomorrow.

Although it can be scary to tell a story without knowing where it will end up, I've been reminded that we have no choice but to build our own lives up to it ourselves.

I started writing in a white notebook in January, and I'm going to write down my daily life without worrying about getting it dirty.

The snow has completely melted, and many people are visiting Utsushiki every day.

This place, where people, things and natural scenery come together, changes from moment to moment, and it is truly special.

I hope that you will be grateful for this everyday life and that this place will become a place of refuge for you.

I hope we can have a wonderful time together again this year.
