Aeons and a Moment

COSMIC WONDER "Usuhanasome" Exhibition
Dear viewers,
thank you very much.
As the sun went down, the light-dyed clothes were illuminated by the light preparing for the evening.
He gives off a once-in-a-lifetime blink.
It was a captivating exhibition until the very end.
The boundary between what is real and what is not is unclear.
Once you have placed your body in it cautiously, you will feel light and dreamy.

There is a story that I treasure that my father told me when I was a child.
I was suddenly reminded of this when I was looking at the clothes on display at this exhibition.
Once upon a time there was a big rock.
Once every hundred years, a heavenly maiden descends,
It brushes the rock with its beautiful, thin, transparent feathers.
Again and again, the rocks that would not budge,
Eventually it will wear down and turn into sand.
That period of time is called ``kalpa.''
This will happen over and over again and eventually become eternal.
This is a story about a unit of time in Buddhism that I have occasionally heard passed down like an old folk tale.
The heavenly maiden is wearing a veil of light,
I felt as if the transparent and delicate batter in front of me was coming together.

The design of COSMIC WONDER,
It combines with dyeing techniques that have been handed down continuously since ancient times,
You can now touch this incredible accumulation with your own hands.
What an honor!
This view is over now.
It runs through in an instant,
This transience is also one of the exhibition's attractions.
It completely disappeared, and I wondered if it was a magic lantern, but looking back at the images and the dialogue,
I put away that one moving event in a drawer.

After a break,
The next time it will open its doors is on Thursday, May 13th.

A world you can only encounter at that moment.
