Things that can't be conveyed online

My name is Yoshiaki Ono and I am in charge of creating the online shop.
On the " Dialogue " page of the site, we interview and write articles about people who have participated in exhibitions.
The artists who exhibit at each exhibition are people who take a serious approach to daily life and craftsmanship and put it into practice.
I also feel it is presumptuous to convey the conflict and process in just a few words.
Still, I want as many people as possible to see the journey that goes into creating a work, so I keep my nerves sharp and focused.
The words of someone who has dedicated themselves to creating something convey their aesthetic sense and beliefs in every detail.
That feeling spreads to those who read it, providing them with daily nourishment.
I am approaching this with that feeling in mind.
An exhibition by "Haiiiro Ookami + Florist Nishibeppu Shoten" will be held from Saturday, June 20th.
Before the exhibition, we visited the shop and atelier located in a back alley in Aoyama, Tokyo, for interviews and photography.
"I want to express something that no one has ever seen before"
They say they always keep this thought in their hearts.
This is the artist's fourth exhibition, and features over 200 works, including his new work "Small Mirror of the Forest."
These works, which condense the life force of plants, add a little luxury to everyday life.
The "Ota Miho + Kamikaki Eriko Concert" will be held on the weekend of June 20th (Sat) and 21st (Sun).
As a listener, I was deeply moved.
The light streaming into the store as dusk approaches and the interior begins to change, the chirps of birds and insects can be heard from outside, and a powerful singing voice is accompanied by piano music that resonates from the depths of one's heart.
During the interview, Kamikaki said, "It is precisely because it is a venue like Utsushiki that we can have deep conversations and become one with the venue, so I would like to hold a concert."
The scene at that moment, including the overwhelming emotions, made me realize once again that there are things that cannot be conveyed online alone.
The exhibition will be held until Sunday, June 28th. Come and experience the scenery that can only be found here.
