The changing of the seasons

季節のうつろい

Time flies and there are only two days left in August.

When we're in the middle of summer, we start to miss autumn, but as it draws to an end, we feel a strong desire to savor the summer even more.

This year, I went surfing (it seems like I have a long way to go before I get better), made lemonade to prevent heat stroke,
I was given some summer vegetables to put in the pot. (The okra in the pot was delicious.)

Looking back, it may seem like a small and insignificant thing, but I'm happy just knowing that I have memories of summer that are unique to me.

Recently, I've been traveling around Fukuoka collecting video footage.

The vivid green of the grass and leaves has become a little deeper and more subdued.
The fluffy cumulonimbus clouds, so thick you could almost grab them in your hands, slowly turn into scale clouds; the changing seasonal scenery is truly precious.

Perhaps the change of seasons always makes me feel nostalgic because I have the sense of entrusting the past scenery to next year and looking forward to it.

However, my desire to enjoy the summer scenery remains unchanged, and I am secretly planning to take my family to the Niyodo River in Kochi Prefecture soon.

My source of information was TV, but I was especially impressed by the beautiful, blue scenery.

It's a place I'd like to visit by mid-September at the latest.

I want to move forward with the editing so that I can calm down the editing process somehow.

Going back a little to mid-August, I recently visited Irodoriyama where Waratatsu and Kawai Arisa are having an exhibition on September 18th.

This was my third time at Irodori Mountain, and it was raining heavily. I had already taken some pictures on sunny days during my two previous visits, so
The colorful mountain scenery in the rain this time was very refreshing, and although they say that mountain scenery is prone to change,
The scenery changes so rapidly from moment to moment that you can't help but stop in your tracks.

We had a very intense time, learning a lot from the strong winds at the top of the mountain, almost getting blown away, and learning about the dangers of the mountains as well as the kindness of Shoda and Arisa.

The contents of the interview will be updated in the form of " video " and " dialogue " this time as well.

I'll be updating it little by little before the exhibition period, so I hope you'll look forward to it!

Even though it's the end of summer, the hot days are likely to continue, so please be sure to take care of your health by drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated.

Well, I hope this week will be another educational one.
